Historic tour set in Ponca City PONCA CITY — Ponca City Main Street will present its annual Historic Home and Building Tour from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 7. The event will highlight prestigious homes and landmark buildings of the 1910s and 1920s on Central Avenue. Featured stops include the first mansion of E.W. Marland, 10th Oklahoma governor and early-day founder of what is now ConocoPhillips, at 1000 E. Grand Ave. Tickets are $10 and available at Cherokee Strip Credit Union, Eastman National Bank, First National Bank, RCB Bank and the Chamber of Commerce and Ponca City Main Street office in City Hall starting Monday, or at any tour stop.
