“I really care about my customers,” said Colson. “I think they are reassured knowing that their account is with me and that I love the details. Many battles are won by watching the little details for our clients.”
Colson is new to Ponca City. Originally from Springfield, Mo., he relocated to Oklahoma after a career move to New Mexico several years ago. He is the go-to-guy for research in the Trust area — statutes, regulations, case law, etc. He is also active in his church and with Habitat for Humanity.
“The personal trust industry is a fascinating crossroads where investments, legal issues, taxes, accounting and fiduciary ethics all come together,” said Colson. “The real life application of trust is on a much deeper level than other banking relationships and this allows us to really be problem solvers for our customers.”
Colson and his wife Laura have five children. He offices at the downtown Ponca City RCB Bank branch, 122 East Grand. The bank will have a private reception this evening to welcome Colson and his family.
