RCB Bank Auditor Earns CIA Certification

CLAREMORE, OKLHAOMA – July 29, 2014 – Kristy Hancock, of Owasso, recently passed the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) exam and received her CIA Certification.
Hancock is a Senior Staff Auditor for RCB Bank at the Corporate Office in Claremore, OK. She has been with RCB Bank almost 4 years.
“For a year and a half I have been studying for CIA! This journey has helped me develop my audit skills and demonstrate my commitment to the profession,” Hancock said. “Not only have I grown professionally, I now have better tools and more knowledge to perform my job.”
The CIA certification is a three-part exam that tests your knowledge of current audit practices and understanding of internal audit issues, risks and remedies. CIA’s are required to complete 40 hours of continuing education each year to maintain certification. The CIA certification process took Hancock about a year and a half to complete.
Hancock graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2008 with a degree in Finance. She started working for RCB Bank in 2010 and currently lives in Owasso.
