OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLAHOMA – Michael Aholt joins RCB Bank as Vice President of Lending (MLO #1172305) at its Nichols Hills location.
“We’re glad to have Michael on our team,” said Terry Stradal, RCB Bank EVP Nichols Hills Branch President. “He is determined, spirited and knowledgeable, and brings additional energy to our lending group. His commitment to quality customer service and his professional values makes him a great fit for our team.”
In the five and a half years, Aholt has been in banking, he has been trained in commercial lending, express lending, middle market and corporate lending. His professional portfolio includes experience as a working capital analyst, construction analyst, credit officer/underwriter, junior lender and portfolio manager.
“Over the past few years, I have figured out what I truly enjoy, and as simple as it sounds, it’s customer service,” Aholt said. “I knew that I wanted to make the move to RCB Bank as they have a great market reputation and really focus on relational banking. Since being here, it is clear this is right where I am supposed to be.”
One of Aholt’s fundamental principles at work and in his personal life is developing relationships and he says RCB Bank’s environment is relaxing and refreshing – a great place to interact with customers.
“I like connecting with people,” he said. “I really enjoy getting to know someone’s story and sharing in a part of their life. It helps me to stay one step ahead, in terms of being organized and knowing what they will need next.”
In the community, Aholt has volunteered with Junior Achievement, teaching personal finance to elementary kids and is currently mentoring a young man just out of college through his church, where you can find him each week, serving coffee, greeting people and connecting with them.
Aholt graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. He is happily married to his wife, Sarah, and lives in Oklahoma City.
