Krysta Wood of Arkansas City recently graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree with honors from Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas. She is employed with RCB Bank as a Trust Administrator at their office in Winfield at 900 Main St.
“I am proud of Krysta’s achievement and her commitment to professional development,” said Travis Colson, Senior Vice President, Trust Officer, RCB Bank. “RCB Bank provides comprehensive investment and trust services by highly educated professionals who are lifelong learners. We have operated with fiduciary prudence since we opened our doors 80 years ago, and our staff is dedicated to providing superior service and unbiased advice in a complex and changing regulatory environment.”
Wood came to RCB from the CornerBank Trust & Investment team and is transitioning into a fiduciary management role with RCB Bank Trust. She was previously working primarily with investment management, having obtained her investment license in 2012. Wood has worked in the banking industry for more than 10 years, beginning in customer service. She plans to pursue trust school programs and work toward becoming a Certified Trust Financial Advisor. Wood has a husband and daughter at home and devotes her spare time to family as well as actively taking part in community activities.
Wood’s philosophy mirrors a quote from Colin Powell: “There are no secrets to success. It is a result of preparation, hard work and learning from failures.”
