RCB Bank was honored last week as Small Business of the Year by the Stillwater Chamber. Each year, the Stillwater Chamber of Commerce seeks to recognize businesses and individuals that have made a significant impact in the Stillwater community for the past year. These awards are based upon contributions to the community, business performance, innovative practices, growth of programs and organization, volunteer contributions to the Chamber, civic involvement and leadership.
“We are honored to be recognized as the Chamber's Small Business of 2013,” said Larry Green, RCB Bank Stillwater President. “RCB is a great community bank, and Stillwater is a great community. We look forward to our mutual future with excitement."
“This is a great achievement on behalf of Larry Green and his staff,” said Roger Mosier, RCB Bank President & CEO. “We are very proud, and it is certainly an honor to be a part of this great community.”
RCB Bank Stillwater is a very active branch of the $2.1 billion community bank. In 2013, they volunteered numerous hours, raised money through fundraisers for the United Way, fed all the teachers in Stillwater before school started, hosted an open house feeding over 500 people in July, had another open house at Christmas, as well as participated in big bank giveaways – like our Honda CNG giveaway, where one lucky RCB Bank customer (a Stillwater resident!) won a brand new car.
